Gurkirat Kotli & Ludhiana DC launch Harpreet Sandhu’s Coffee Table Book ‘Sadda Sohna Punjab’

A unique work portraying the unseen beauty of Natural scenic locations in Punjab, compiled in form of a Coffee Table Book titled, “Sadda Sohna Punjab” authored by Chairman Punjab Infotech and Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu, was released today by Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh Kotli and Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Varinder Kumar Sharma along with Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Padma Shri Dr. Surjit Patar, Principal Director General Income Tax Parneet Sachdev, IRS, Commissioner Central GST Hardeep Batra, IRS, Chancellor Dr. S.S Johl, Prof Gurbhajan Gill and other prominent personalities of Ludhiana during an event organized at Sutton House, PAU, Ludhiana.

Gurkirat Singh Kotli and Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, Varinder Kumar Sharma while launching the Coffee Table Book appreciated the efforts of Author Harpreet Sandhu in compiling this wonderful Coffee Table Book showcasing the beautiful Natural unseen locations within State of Punjab. They further applauded Harpreet Sandhu for conceiving and coming up with this meaningful work depicting serene nature of Punjab and said that this initiative will definitely help nature lovers of not only Punjab but from across world to witness these magnificent places within our State and promote tourism.

Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, IPS acknowledged the Coffee Table Book authored by Harpreet Sandhu and said that this work will encourage the people of Punjab to value nature and witness these unseen beautiful scenic locations of Punjab.

Padma Shri Dr. Surjit Patar appreciated the dedicated efforts of Harpreet Sandhu to explore the hidden nature locations of Punjab and putting it forward before the citizens of Punjab in form of a Coffee Table Book “Sadda Sohna Punjab”.

Chancellor Central University of Punjab Dr. S.S Johl, Eminent Poet Prof. Gurbhajan Gill, Eminent Doctors and Businessmen also graced the occasion.

The Coffee Table Book depicts the mesmerizing Nature locations of Punjab, putting together awe inspiring natural beauty of Punjab, bringing alive the beautiful panoramic views of densely populated green forests, the rich luxuriant rivers whirring with sparkling flow of blue waters and portrays the beautiful photographs of Nature projecting the changing perspectives of nature showcasing the scenic nature spots of Punjab, i.e. Machhiwara Forest near Khanna – Rahon, Ropar – Dam, Nangal Dam, Anandpur Sahib – around River, Harike Pattan – River Beas and River Sutlej juncture, Shahpur Kandi Dam, Ranjit Sagar Dam (Pathankot), Thar Lake, Pong Dam, 52 Gate Lake –around the banks of River Sutlej and Beas.

Author Harpreet Sandhu of Coffee Table Book, “Sadda Sohna Punjab” after launch of the Coffee Table Book said that he has prepared this Coffee Table Book with an aim to project the unique scenic locations of Nature portraying the stunning beauty of rivers, dams and lakes that might have been ignored by the travelers.
