GRP Patiala solves blind murder case within 24 hours with help of a slip found in victim’s pocket

The GRP Patiala worked out a blind murder case and arrested the accused persons involved in the offence.

The accused murdered the victim and then thrown his body near the Railway track near Derabassi.

On June 29, an unidentified body was found near the railway track in dera Bassi. On the examination of the body of deceased deep cut wounds were found which raised a suspicion that he would have been murdered due to that reason a case u/s 302,201,34 IPC was registered One pumphlet was found was found from the pocket of the victim after his Jama talashi.

Investigation team of GRP approched the factory, showed the photograph of the deceased. Some of the people identified the victim as Sahdev r/o Chandpur Distt Bijnaur UP presently r/o H.No.782 GP Complex village Saidpura Derabassi age around 49yrs.

GRP Team carried out investigation of the case using scientific methods, interrogated his wife. Putting before her her movement recorded in cctv footage, she broke and confessed that she along with others murdered her husband. She was having illicit relationships with a young boy named Harpreet Singh age 22. Sahdev was much older than her and she was not liking him.She hatched a conspiracy to kill her husband with the help of his boyfriend.

On her confession Police arrested Mamta Devi w/o victim Sahdev and her paramour Harpreet Singh @Happy r/o Derabassi. Further investigation is going on.

On the successful investigation ADGP Railway MF Farooqui granted CC class one to the investigation team He praised the efforts made by Jaswinder Singh SHO GRP Patiala and Jagmohan Singh DSP Patiala for this outstanding success.
