Gold has been recovered from a flight that landed at Sri Guru Ramdass International Airport at Rajasansi in Amritsar.
AS Ranga, Commissioner, Customs, said that one kg Gold Bar, approximately worth Rs.51 lakh was recovered from a flight which arrived from Dubai at 3.55 PM on Tuesday.
The gold bar was covered with a black adhesive tape and was stuck to the bottom of an unoccupied seat, he said.
The gold has been recovered unclaimed under the Customs Act 1962, he said adding that further enquiry was on.
