Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar-Surjit) President Giani Harpreet Singh has announced a fresh round of organisational appointments aimed at strengthening the party structure across Punjab.
According to a party statement, the appointments include a Vice President, district observers, the District President for Khanna and office-bearers for the Ludhiana Urban unit.
As part of the organisational expansion, Bharpur Singh (Manager) has been appointed as Vice President of the party.
District Observers
The following leaders have been appointed as district observers:
- Amrik Singh Khalilpur – Amritsar
- Gurmeet Singh Mugrala – Amritsar
- Satpal Singh Wadali – Tarn Taran and Kapurthala
- Jassa Singh Ahluwalia – Sangrur and Malerkotla
District President – Khanna
- Jathedar Hakam Singh Nambardar (Nasrali) has been appointed District President, Khanna.
Ludhiana Urban Unit
The following office-bearers have been appointed for the Ludhiana Urban district unit:
- President:Â Parminder Singh
- Vice President:Â Jatinder Singh Goldy
- General Secretary:Â Gurdeep Singh
- Treasurer:Â Harjot Singh
- Press Secretary:Â Gursahib Singh
The party said the appointments have been made to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and further expand its organisational network across the state.
