I am very impressed by the deep religious, peaceful and respectful atmosphere of this holy place (Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib) full of Gurbani Kirtan, lights and colours, penned Emmanuel Lenain, Ambassador of France, who visited Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, by recording his feelings in the visitor’s book.
Emmanuel and his wife paid obeisance on Saturday.
Emmanuel expressed happiness after seeing the langar being at the kitchen of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji when he visited there and while doing parikarma (circumambulation) he showed special interest in learning the history of Sri Darbar Sahib and its associated places.
Emmanuel said that he was relieved to visit Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.
On the occasion, Ambassador Emmanuel and his wife were received and jointly honoured at the Information Center by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) member Dr Mangwinder Singh Khaparkheri, Bhai Ram Singh, OSD to SGPC president Dr Amrik Singh Latifpur and information officer Jaswinder Singh Jassi.
On this occasion, S. Harinder Singh Romi, S. Amritpal Singh, S. Sarabjit Singh and others were present.
