Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, a senior Congress leader and a former Chief Minister of Punjab, has tested positive for COVID-19.
She has isolated herself at her residence.
Sharing this information on social media, her son and a Congress leader, Rahul Sidhu said that his mother has been found Covid positive and has isolated herself. He said that as a precautionary measure he too was going into isolation.
Requesting people who had come into contact with him or his mother, Rahul Sidhu, said that they should take care and isolate themselves.
He also informed that he and his mother have cancelled all their engagements.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Ms Bhattal’s OSD Ravinder Singh Turna has also tested positive for COVID.
