Five newly appointed IAS officers call on Haryana Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya

Five newly appointed trainee officers of the Indian Administrative Services paid a courtesy call on Haryana Governor Mr. Satyadeo Narain Arya at Chandigarh today. These officers include Ms. Ankita Chaudhary, Assistant Commissioner (Under Training) Karnal, Mr. Hitesh Kumar Meena, Assistant Commissioner (Under Training) Gurgaon, Mr. Neeraj, Assistant Commissioner (Under Training) Karnal, Ms. Saloni Sharma, Assistant Commissioner (Under Training) Sonipat and Ms. Vaishali Singh, Assistant Commissioner (Under Training) Kurukshetra.

Mr. Arya wished the officers a very bright future. He said that all officers have joined at a challenging time when the government and the Administrative Services were striving hard to stop the spread of COVID-19. At this time, the new officers will get a chance to work more responsibly, which will increase their working capacity. He said that the experience that they would gain by working in such difficult circumstances will serve them well in times to come.

He said that it was a matter of pride for them as they were getting an opportunity to work in a developed state like Haryana. Haryana is a prosperous and progressive state. He noted that all the new officers had received higher education in various fields that would ultimately benefit the people of the state.

Mr. Arya asked the officers to implement the ambitious schemes and programs of the government with commitment so that even the last person standing in the queue gets the benefit of these schemes. He hoped that they would play an important role in fulfilling the dream of a New India of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and other great personalities.

Mr. Arya specially congratulated the women officers and said that due to Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi’s policies of women empowerment today women are excelling in every field. This shows the prosperity and progress of the country. Among the five Indian Administrative Service officers who called on the Governor, three are women. On this occasion, Secretary to the Governor, Dr. G. Anupama also shared her experiences of working in the Indian Administrative Services.
