Dr. Seema Khanna, Director General (IT), Election Commission of India, and Ms. Anindita Mitra, Chief Electoral Officer, Punjab, today paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar, and sought the blessings of the Almighty.
On the occasion, they offered prayers for the welfare of all and paid their respects at the holy shrine.
During their visit, they listened to Gurbani Kirtan and also gained insights into the rich traditions, heritage, and spiritual significance of Sikhism’s most revered religious centre.
Thereafter, Dr. Seema Khanna also paid obeisance at Sri Durgiana Mandir and offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of society.
Deputy Commissioner Amritsar, Mr. Dalwinderjit Singh, along with senior officers of the Election Department and the district administration, was also present on the occasion.
