DSGMC to provide Free Education to children of Hindu, Sikh refugees migrated from Pakistan

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee will Provide Free Education to children of Pakistani Migrants Hindu Sikh refugees families living in jhuggis and semi-permanent structures on the Yamuna floodplains, south of Gurudwara Majnu Ka Tila said Sh Manjinder Singh Sirsa President Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee here today .

Sh Manjinder Singh Sirsa President DSGMC said that all the children will be admitted in Delhi Based Chain of 11 co-educations schools run by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee set up in various parts of National Capital New Delhi .

He said that DSGMC has already written letter to Directoratee of Educations Delhi Govt for providing permission to these refuge childrens on compassionate grounds in DSGMC run education institutes at the earliest and hoped that all such eligible students will be able to enroll by the next academic session begining from April 2020.

He told that DSGMC will provide complete education free of cost to these pakistan hindu sikh childrens in its schools and besides it meritous students will also be provided scholarship and other incentives to prepare them for admissions in prestigous professional educational institutes in order to bring them on the national mainstream to live life with dignity .

He hoped that Govt of Delhi will soon accord permission in this regard and told that DSGMC will explore legal provisions to admit such students on the basis of international laws .He said that legal provision like grant of Students Visa to these students is being explored by legal team of DSGMC

He said that he has also taken up issue for admissions of such students for admissions in schools run by Delhi Govt and added that he will persue it further with Delhi Govt at highest level .He told that he has writtenn letter to Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodhia and have apprised him that These refugee families want to educate their wards in Delhi Government schools.

Since they left Pakistan in haphazard manner without any proper or no document pertaining to education they were getting in Pakistan and requested Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodhia to please allow them to get admission in Delhi schools in the interest of their study and future and on humanitarian grounds.

Sh Manjinder Singh Sirsa President DSGMC said that Delegations of Pakistani Hindu Sikh families will meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwl in this regards soon and will request him to expediate the request on extreme compassionate grounds keeping in view of the future of such students in considerations and future of the families who have been living here for saving their dignity and religious faith.

He said that migrant refuge Hindu Sikh families young boys and girls have shown their keenness and commitment to enroll them in Indian Army and Para Military forces to serve the nation and giving befitting reply to enemy Pakistan on border.
