After remaining close for more than 20 years, Bala Sahib Hospital in National Capital region is all set to launch operations with inauguration of Kidney dialysis hospital within complex which will be India’s biggest kidney dialysis hospital.
Disclosing more about this project, the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that it is a proud moment for the whole Sikh community particularly DSGMC which has successfully planned and executed this project, which will be country’s biggest kidney dialysis hospital. He said that 101 patients can get their dialysis done simultaneously in this hospital and it can cater to 500 patients daily.
He said that one of the major achievements is that all services will be provided totally free in this most technically advanced hospital. There will be no billing or payment counter. He said that besides that Guru Ka Langar will be served to patients and their attendants.
He said that DSGMC will take services from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from corporate houses, from those who are willing to contribute for such initiatives and will fully utilize government schemes like Ayushman Bharat besides others to run this hospital.
He said that renown doctor of the nation who are already in field of dialysis will handle management at this kidney dialysis hospital.
The DSGMC President said that though DSGMC body of Sikh community owns this project but this is open for people of every religion and anybody can get his/her dialysis done in this hospital. He said that the DSGMC works on the teaching of Guru Sahib who have taught that all human being are creation of one god.
It is worth mentioning here that Giani Harpreet Singh Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib had visited this facility and after taking assessment of the project he had stated that he feel proud that the DSGMC organization of his Sikh community is all set to launch country’s biggest kidney dialysis hospital.
He had also lauded establishment of polyclinic at Guru Harkrishan polyclinic which will provide cheapest MRI, CT Scan, Ultra sound and other medical facilities in Gurudwara Bangal Sahib complex. Giani Harpreet Singh had also called upon other to follow suit and establish medical facilities within complexes of Gurudwara Sahiban.
Mr. Sirsa said that we had promised to start Bala Sahib Hospital and in first phase we are launching this kidney dialysis hospital in first phase which has been named after Baba Harbans Singh ji Kar Sewa wale. He said that his next in line Baba Bachan Singh who did kar sewa for the hospital will inaugurate this dialysis hospital. He also disclosed that this will be a 24X7 facility for the people.
He also said that motive of the DSGMC is to provide safe, accessible care with its innovative ideas and these two projects showcase that vision. He said that in this era of costly medical treatment, providing best accessible medical facilities is a necessity of the day and the DSGMC is trying to achieve that end only.
