The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) today launched free Ambulance Sewa for the COVID-19 patients on the occasion of Prakash Purab of Guru Harkrishan Sahib ji. In this first phase 12 Ambulances have been rolled out and they are equipped with ultra modern medical facilities.
Talking to media on the occasion, the DSGMC President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa and General Secretary Mr. Harmeet Singh Kalka said that this Ambulance Sewa has been launched for all the parts of Delhi including Central, West, East or other parts of the National Capital.
They disclosed that these Ambulances will be stationed at Gurudwara Sahibs of the DSGMC and will take COVID-19 patients to hospital as and when required. They said that those who require their services can call on a specific number which the DSGMC is issuing as it has already installed a control room for that, or the people can contact any Gurudwara Sahib of the DSGMC or its members.
They said that more Ambulances will be pumped into service as and when required. They said that the DSGMC is in the process to contact local hospitals so that the patient can be taken to nearest hospital as soon as possible.
