The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee has filed a criminal complaint against one offender who has hurt Sikh sentiments and created disharmony amongst religious communities throughout the world.
In a complaint filed with SHO, Police Station North Avenue New Delhi, the DSGMC President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that offender Raghav Gautam has posted highly objectionable messages which has resulted in creating disharmony amongst the different religious communities throughout the world apart from hurting sentiments of the Sikh community. He urged the police to book Raghav under sections 295 A, 153 a, 499, 500, 501 and other relevant provisions of IPC and IT Act 2000.
He said that Sri Harmandir Sahib (the Darbar Sahib) located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab (India) are informally known as the Darbar Sahib (the Golden Temple). Built in the 16th Century by Guru Arjan Dev, the Darbar Sahib opens from four gates which symbolises the openness of Sikhism towards all the people and all the religions.
Sri Guru Granth Sahib is the living Guru of Sikh Community and is always present inside the Darbar Sahib. More than one lakh worshippers visit the Darbar Sahib on a daily basis.
He said that this man Raghav posted defamatory and insulted comments on his Facebook account about Sri Harmandir Sahib (the Darbar Sahib).
He said that the language used by Raghav Gautam and his followers for Sri Harmandir Sahib (the Darbar Sahib) and the way he has manipulated, distorted, false and hated comments about Sri Harmandir Sahib (the Darbar Sahib), if no action is taken against him, then the situation may go out of control and Law and order disturbance problem can arises in the entire SIKH Community.
Mr. Sirsa said that due to the wrong and defamatory statements of Raghav Gautam (RG) on his Facebook Post riots situations can be happened on the roads and streets of Delhi as well as all over India and his intention is to create this situation.
Stressing that the complaint need immediate action, Mr. Sirsa said that in order to maintain peace and harmony amongst different communities action against him is must as his contents are consistently poisoning the population at large.
