She holds a Ph.D. in Economics. Dr. Misra has handled prestigious portfolios both with the Centre and State Governments. Currently, she holds the office of Additional Chief Secretary, Haryana. Dr. Misra nurtures a keen interest in the propagation of literature and culture. A number of literary and cultural events have been organized under her patronage.
