Dr. Nivedita, Dr. Alankar Singh and their colleagues performed at Amity University

The mesmerizing performance by Dr. Nivedita Singh of Punjabi University, along with her colleagues captivated the audience during the recently concluded Punjab Tourism Summit and Travel Mart organized by the Punjab Government at Amity University, Mohali.
Dr. Nivedita Singh, Dr. Alankar Singh and their colleagues commenced the program with a melodious performance of Dhani Ram Chatrik’s poem ‘Nee Koil Ku Ku Gaa’ in Raag Malhar. Following that, she presented the vibrant folk colous of Punjab with a rendition of Dhani Ram Chatrik’s another poem ‘Punjab Karaan Ki Sift Teri’. The final song, ‘Sohne Desaan Andar Des Punjab,’ composed by Babu Firoz Din Sharaf, left a lasting impression on the audience.
Dr. Nivedita Singh’s presentation deeply engaged the guests and the audience. During the event, Ms. Anmol Gagan Maan, Minister for Cultural Affairs and Tourism congratulated all the artists for their vibrant performances.
