Dr Amar Singh meets Union Tourism Secretary, demands Rs.100-cr for Fatehgarh Sabib and other related religious sites

Dr Amar Singh Member of Parliament Shri Fatehgarh Sahib met the Union Tourism Secretary Shri Arvind Singh and again put forth his demand for developing Shri Fatehgarh Sahib as an international pilgrimage centre and making it part of the international pilgrimage circuit.

He requested that at least Rs 100 Cr be given for developing the infrastructure of Shri Fatehgarh Sahib and that all sites related to the Shaheedi of the younger Sahibzadas be given greater access by rail and air.

He briefed Shri Arvind Singh on the history of Shri Fatehgarh Sahib highlighting the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas- how there is no comparable event to the Shaheedi of the younger Sahibzadas in the world.
