Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has termed the protests and strikes as anti-people phenomena and has warned all institutions, organizations and unions in clear terms that if they harass people through these methods, they should be ready for strict legal action.
The Chief Minister Monday posted a tweet on the social media platform ‘X’.
The tweet (in Punjabi Language) reads as under:
Any announcements, protests or strikes in Punjab that block roads or trains or harass the common people and disrupt their daily activities will be considered against the public..All institutions, organizations and unions should pay attention..There are other ways to protest, it is not right to just harass people..Otherwise, be ready for strict legal action..Released in the interest of the hardworking people of Punjab…
