The renowned Surjit Hockey Society today appointed Jalandhar Police Commissioner Ms. Dhannpreet Kaur as its Patron and SSP (Rural) Jalandhar, Harvinder Singh Virk, as Senior Vice President.
The Society’s Working President Lakhwinder Pal Singh Khaira, Senior Vice President Amrik Singh Pawar, General Secretary Surinder Singh Bhapa, and Secretary Ranbir Singh Tutt presented the appointment letters to Ms. Dhannpreet Kaur and Harvinder Singh Virk in accordance with the Society’s constitution.
On this occasion, Ms. Dhannpreet Kaur stated, “Over the past 41 years, the members of Surjit Hockey Society, through their hard work and dedication, have elevated the Surjit Hockey Tournament to an international level while immortalizing the legacy of former Indian hockey team captain and Olympian Surjit Singh.”
Meanwhile, SSP (Rural) Harvinder Singh Virk remarked, “Surjit Hockey Society has made significant contributions to the progress of hockey. The Surjit Hockey Tournament has earned Jalandhar a special recognition across the country. We will extend our full support to ensure the success of the upcoming tournament.”
