Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action (DFCA) successfully launched an innovative manual prescription pad at Virk Hospital in Jalandhar, under the leadership of Dr. P. S. Bakhshi and Dr. S.P.S Virk.
Dr. P. S. Bakhshi is a Senior Laparoscopic Surgeon at Virk Fertility Services, Jalandhar, and Honorary President Punjab Chapter Doctors for Clean Air and Climate Action (DFCA) and Dr. S.P.S Virk, is the Director of Virk IVF Centre, Jalandhar. The launch aimed at raising public awareness about the harmful effects of air pollution. Prominent doctors from Jalandhar attended the event.
The newly introduced prescription pad directly integrates educational content on air pollution into medical practices. Patients receiving prescriptions can now access information about air pollution’s health impacts and practical measures to mitigate its effects.
