In view of incidents of robbery at Banks and Companies involved in Gold Loan Business, the Police have asked the managements of these financial institutions to follow certain guidelines.
According to orders issued under section 144 CrPC by Sh. Rakesh Aggarwal, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, all institutions involved in Gold Loan Business will have to follow certain guidelines / directions to ensure safety of the jewellery kept and employees/persons inside the company premises.
The order signed on October 23, 2020 has come into force with immediate effect and the institutions falling under Gold Loan Business category have been asked to comply with the guidelines/directions positively besides intimating the same to concerned officers.
