CT Law Student Dhruv Malhotra’s Petition on Men’s Rights Recognized by MHA

May 29, 2025 (Yes Punjab News)

CT Institute of Law, Shahpur, proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone achieved by Dhruv Malhotra, an 8th semester student of BA LLB and the dynamic President of our Legal Aid Committee.

Dhruv’s thought-provoking and meticulously researched petition advocating for the introduction of a ‘Men Protection Act’ has been officially acknowledged by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Recognizing the seriousness and relevance of the concerns raised, the Women Safety Division of MHA has forwarded his petition to the Judicial Division for further action.

This recognition underscores Dhruv’s dedication to constitutional advocacy, social equity, and legal reform. By highlighting the need to address the misuse of certain laws and ensure a balanced approach to gender rights, Dhruv has not only taken a bold step in support of men’s legal protection but has also set a shining example of responsible legal citizenship.

This accomplishment is a proud moment for the entire CT family, reaffirming our commitment to nurturing socially conscious, articulate, and reform-oriented legal professionals.

We extend special appreciation to Dr. Manavpreet Kaur Dhindsa, Principal of CT Institute of Law, and the dedicated faculty members for their unwavering mentorship and for fostering a culture that empowers students to engage with real-world legal challenges.
