With the outbreak of Coronavirus in India the social media is abuzz with information and misinformation.
Lot of unauthenticated and misleading messages are being posted and forwarded by people without confirming the facts and the source of such information which creates scare and panic among the people.
Chandigarh Police has warned people posting and sharing such messages on Social Media.
A press release and an Advisory issued in this respect says that if any person is found creating panic / unrest in general public through such type of posts on social media, he / she will be dealt as per relevant provisions of law.
