Under the Punjab Government’s flagship initiative ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’, a major action was carried out in Jalandhar today. The Jalandhar Municipal Corporation, in coordination with the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police, demolished an illegal property in the Abadpura area linked to notorious drug peddlers.
Commissioner of Police, Smt. Dhanpreet Kaur said that the illegal property belonging to Manjit Kaur @ Bhambo, wife of Rakesh Kumar, and Mohinderjeet Kaur @ Lambo, wife of Hans Raj, residents of House No. ES-628, Abadpura, Jalandhar, was demolished. Both women are known drug peddlers — with three FIRs registered against Manjit Kaur and one FIR against Mohinderjeet Kaur under the NDPS Act.
This action sends a strong message to the drug mafia that any illegal activity related to drugs will not be tolerated, and strict action will be taken against everyone involved.
