Congress MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid demands action against Honey Singh, to raise issue in Vidhan Sabha

Congress MLA from Gill (Ludhiana) constituency Kuldeep Singh Vaid said that he will raise the issue of vulgar songs in Punjab Vidhan Sabha incoming session. He has also demanded that Punjab Chief Minister should ensure strict action against rapper YO YO Honey Singh.

MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid said the vulgarity in songs is a setback to culture, rich tradition and heritage of Punjab. He said that FIR against rapper Honey Singh by Mohali Police is a welcome step and he will request Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to take strict action against him.

Kuldip Singh VaidMLA also supported Punjab Women Commission Chairperson Manisha Gulati who has received threats from supporters of Honey Singh. He added that apart from Honey Singh, other singers, producers should be taken to task for promoting vulgarity and violence in songs and films.

MLA Kuldeep Singh Vaid said that in upcoming Vidhan Sabha session he will raise the issue of vulgarity in songs and movies and will demand policy or censor boards for songs and movies.
