The Indian National Congress has announced the appointment of District Congress Committee (DCC) Presidents for Jammu and Kashmir, with immediate effect, as part of a major organisational exercise.
The appointments, approved by the Congress President, are part of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, under which AICC observers carried out detailed organisational assessments in each district and submitted comprehensive reports. The process included one-on-one consultations with observers and senior party leaders.
The official announcement was issued by K. C. Venugopal, General Secretary, AICC.
