The Congress party today announced candidates for two Punjab seats.
Gidderbaha MLA Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has been chosen for prestigious Bathinda seat.
Former MP and former SAD leader who resigned recently from Akali Dal and joined Congress in presence of Rahul Gandhi will be the party candidate from Ferozepur.
Raja Warring is likely to be Congress contestant against SAD’s Harsimrat Badal whose candidature is yet to be announced.
Sher Singh Ghubaya will be contesting to retain his seat which he won in 2014 but on SAD ticket. The SAD is yet to announce its candidate from here also.
With this list of two, the Congress has announced all 13 candidates from the state.
