Complaints, Problems of SC community to be resolved soon:  Dharmasot

The Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Welfare Minister of Punjab Mr. Sadhu Singh Dharmasot today emphasized that various Complaints/ problems of the people belonging to the Scheduled Caste community of the state needs to be resolved soon so that there is no delay in getting them justice.

During a meeting with the Chairperson and members of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission last evening, Mr. Dharamsot appealed to the Commission to expedite the resolution of the Complaints/issues of the Scheduled Castes people of the state.

He said that even today, there is a lot of issues confronted by the Scheduled Caste people which needs to be strictly stopped. He said that even though the law is doing its job properly, it is the priority of the state government to resolve the issues of the working class on a priority basis.

Mr. Dharamsot assured the commission members to resolve at the earliest the problem pertaining to lacking of clerical staff and other issues raised by the Commission.

The meeting was attended by Mrs. Tejinder Kaur, Chairperson of the Punjab State Scheduled Caste Commission, all the members of the Commission, Principal Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Mr. Kirpa Shankar Saroj and senior officers of the department.
