Coach Rajinder Sharma honored for promoting Hockey during COVID pandemic

Rajinder Kumar Sharma, a veteran national hockey player and hockey coach of Punjab Institute of Sports (PIS) was felicitated by Punjab’s Head Coach (Hockey) Olympian & Dronacharya Awardee Shri Rajinder Singh (Jr) today.

Coach Rajinder SharmaIn a simple ceremony held at the local Surjit Hockey Stadium, Rajinder Sharma, hockey coach of Punjab Institute of Sports (PIS) was today felicitated for his outstanding work in promoting hockey and imparting training to goalkeepers with modern techniques during the COVID pandemic.

On this occasion, Surjit Hockey Society’s General Secretary Iqbal Singh Sandhu, Hockey Coach Davinder Singh, Coach Yadvinder Singh Johny, Surjit Hockey Society’s PRO Surinder Singh Bhapa, Councillor Bunty Neelkanth etc. were present on the occasion.
