The Punjab Government Monday issued notification regarding 15% hike in staff’s basic pay hours after new Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi was sworn in.
According to the notification issued by the Finance Department, the increase will be based on basic pay +113% DA from December 31, 2015.
It may be recalled that the Punjab Cabinet had last month announce an increase in the basic pay of its employees by minimum 15 percent and also to restore certain allowances.
