Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Ludhiana bomb blast is a matter of great sorrow, but he’d some strong words for state’s Congress government, calling them extremely weak and unstable. Arvind Kejriwal is on a two-day visit to Punjab and he was addressing the media after landing at Amritsar airport this morning. He prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Arvind Kejriwal lashed out at Punjab government for failing to maintain law and order in the state and said, “If the conspirators and masterminds of 2015 sacrilege incident were brought to stern justice then no one would have dared to do same in one of the holiest places.
Similarly, exemplary action in Maur bomb blast would have ” He said that frequency of such incidents is increasing in the state just like last time (2017 election) and appealed to the people of Punjab to maintain peace and harmony and encouraged them not to fall prey to such anti-social elements whose sole purpose is to disturb the atmosphere of a poll bound state. He said that people of Punjab will see through these impure intentions and such nefarious attempts won’t succeed.
Taking a dig at Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and PPCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu he said, “They’ve filed one FIR against one person in the last five years, and it’s only an electoral stunt. But, they are glorifying it like they’ve trammeled the whole drug network in Punjab. Congress promised two major things in 2017; justice in sacrilege incident and drug racketeers in Jail within a month. But, they’ve failed and betrayed the people of Punjab.”
He said that Channi government had 3 to 4 months to take significant actions in both cases but they are always busy in their civil war and people of Punjab are suffering due to it. He said Punjab needs an honest, strong, stable and committed government, that only Aam Aadmi Party is capable of delivering. He promised that AAP government in Punjab will catch the mastermind behind the sacrilege incidents and take strict against drug mafia of state.
AAP National Convener was received at Amritsar airport and welcomed by Kunwar Vijay Pratap Singh, Jeevanjot Kaur, Harchand Singh Barsat, Prabhjot Singh Brar, Iqbal Singh Bhullar, Dr. Ajay Gupta, Ashok Talwar and Harbans Singh.
