The Chandigarh Club hosted its first Finance Committee meeting following the recent elections on November 28, 2024, at 4 PM on the club premises. This meeting, convened by CA Rachit Goyal, a newly elected executive member, marked a significant step toward enhancing financial governance and transparency within the club.
The meeting was attended by key office-bearers, including Sunil Khanna, the President of the Club; Anurag Aggarwal, Vice President; Suraj Mukhi Sharma, Hon. Secretary; and Sanjay Pahwa, Executive Member. Arun Bhardwaj, the Internal Auditor, also participated alongside Finance Committee members Rajnish Jain, CA Vishal Puri, CA Ravinder Garg, CA Rajiv Khurana, CA Rahul Bansal, CA Apurv Bansal, and CA Kunal Sikri.
During the session, several critical financial strategies were discussed to ensure the club’s operational efficiency and long-term sustainability. The committee focused on improving cash flow, implementing stronger financial controls, and developing sustainable practices to enhance financial stability. These measures aim to provide a superior experience for club members while promoting transparency in financial operations.
