Bhopal, Sep 28, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)
A video of a senior IPS officer in Bhopal beating his wife has gone viral.

In the purported video, Purshottam Sharma, a police officer of Director General (DG) rank is seen dragging his wife along the ground and then thrashing her.

Other staff present in his house were seen trying to intervene.

The reason for the discord as can be understood from the video appears to be one of extra marital affair by the police officer. It seemed to have been a long running dispute between the husband and wife.

The incident was recorded at a Camera installed in the house.

It has reported that Sharma’s son has handed over two videos to the Home Minister, the DGP and the Chief Secretary of the state and demanded stringent action against his father.

One video is said to be of 7.13 and the other is said to be 4.47 minutes long.
