Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has extended warm greetings to the people of Punjab on the eve of ‘Kabir Jayanti’ and exhorted them to follow the teachings of the great saint and doyen of ‘Bhakti Movement’.
In his message, the Chief Minister described Bhagat Kabir ji as a spiritual poet of the Bhakti Movement era, whose hymns and salokas in the holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib would always inspire mankind to lead the life of purity, righteousness and contentment. He called upon the people to follow Bhagat Kabir’s path of divinity and morality by rising above the parochial barriers of caste, colour, creed and religion.
