By not attending all parties meet on India’s leadership of G20, KCR has insulted people of Telangana: Chugh

Chandigarh, December 6, 2022 (Yes Punjab News)
BJP’s National General Secretary and Telangana In-charge Sh. Tarun Chugh took a jibe on KCR, and said It is unfortunate that the Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri K. Chandrasekhar Rao, abstained from the all-party meeting hosted by the Hon’ble Prime Minister to elicit the views of the Chief Ministers and leaders of Political Parties on celebrating India’s leadership of G20 nations and hosting the G20 leaders’ summit in India in September 2023.

Appreciating India’s leadership globally chugh said this is indeed a historic moment, as every Indian takes pride in this unique achievement of India under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Every Indian, including the Indian Diaspora, across cultures and continents, is celebrating India’s leadership of the G20 nations.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi convened a meeting of the leaders of all political parties and state chief ministers in New Delhi yesterday, demonstrating the true spirit of cooperative federalism.

Chugh Sarcastically said While the Chief Ministers and heads of political parties, cutting across ideological barriers, attended the meeting and gave their valuable suggestions, KCR, by not attending, has actually insulted the people of Telangana.

But for those who know KCR and are familiar with his superciliousness, his absence is not surprising. He has scant respect for the constitution and the nation. He avoids receiving the Prime Minister whenever he visits the state of Telangana, which is a constitutional propriety. In the past, he wanted proof for the Balakot surgical strikes. He claimed that the Chinese Army invaded India in Arunachal Pradesh. He says the Indian economy is worse than that of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

KCR’s hatred for the Hon’ble Prime Minister is turning into hatred for the nation. How else do we understand his absence from the historic all party meeting yesterday?

As a Chief Minister, he never calls any meetings of the opposition parties. He doesn’t even meet his own cabinet colleagues. It is a reflection of his typical feudal mindset. He must realize that in democracy, despotism has no place.

The politically conscious people of Telangana have always detested this arrogance.

In his last “Man-ki-Baat,” Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi referred to a letter that he had received from a weaver Sri Hari Prasad from Siricilla, in Telangana, who had woven the logo of the G20 and tweeted expressing his happiness about India hosting the G20 leaders’ summit. While a common man in Telangana is celebrating the historical opportunity that India got, what is KCR’s problem?

He is unhappy because the event will further enhance the image of Sri Narendra Modi. The success of the G20 summit will take India one step closer to becoming a ‘Viswa Guru’.

I strongly condemn the continuous recalcitrance of KCR and appeal to him to learn from the common people of Telangana who always demonstrated nation-first conviction.

The people of Telangana will not forgive KCR and are ready to teach him a lesson in the ensuing Assembly elections.
