Burning midnight oil and focused approach needed to become an IAS SDM Rahul Sindhu

The Sub Divisional Magistrate-II and young IAS officer Mr Rahul Sindhu today exhorted the students to work hard with utmost dedication and focused approach to excel in life by clearing coveted civil services examinations.

Interacting with the students during the session ‘Entry into civil services and other central services’ in the career counselling Spark mela here at precincts of the Guru Gobind singh stadium today, the Sub Divisional Magistrate said that the purpose of organising the SPARK mela would be fulfilled only if after a decade or more at least 15 students from Jalandhar clear this prestigious exam.

He said that such melas were the need of hour to ensure that more and more students from District get excellent career guidance.

Mr Rahul Sindhu further said that education system of the country was one of the finest in world and a number of avenues could open for them after graduation.

The Sub Divisional Magistrate said that UPSC exam for civil services was a coveted but toughest exam, which tests knowledge and general ability of every aspirant.

He said that the exam checks overall personality of a candidate and only those could clear, who were focused and dedicated for this purpose.

Mr Sindhu also apprised the students about other minute aspects of this exam.
