Brahmpura, Dhindsa pledge to liberate Gurdhams from domination of Badals as they pay obeisance at Harmandar Sahib

Amritsar, June 21, 2021 (Yes Punjab News)
Today, as a gesture of gratitude, Shiromani Akali Dal’s (Sanyukat) Supreme leader Jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, President Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa and newly appointed senior Sikh executives in leadership paid reverence at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, a prominent central religious site of the Sikh community.

After paying homage with great devotion, they headed to pay obeisance at the highest shrine of the Sikh community, Shri Akal Takhat Sahib and prayed for the ever progression and high spirits of the Kisani movement, party and Panth as a whole.

On this occasion, along with the senior vice presidents; Jathedar Seva Singh Sekhwa, Jagdish Singh Garcha, Bir Davinder Singh, Jathedar Ujagar Singh Badali (retired) Nirmal Singh, Sukhwinder Singh Aulakh, Mahinder Singh Hussainpur, General Secretary Jathedar Ranjit Singh Talwandi, Nidharak Singh Brar, Karnail Singh Peermohammad, Jathedar Barjinder Singh Hussainpur, Jathedar Manmohan Singh Sathiala, Sukhwant Singh Sarao, Harsukhinder Singh Babbi Badal, Tejinderpal Singh Sandhu, Manjit Singh Dasuha, Avtar Singh Johal, Jathedar Makhan Singh Nangal, Jathedar Arjan Singh, Jathedar Harbans Singh Manjhpur, Arjan Singh Shergill, Harpreet Singh Garcha and other leaders, members and office bearers were present.

Speaking to reporters on this occasion, Jathedars Ranjit Singh Brahmpura and Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, while advocating for a Halemi state against tyranny, expressed how the rulers had ruined the outlook of Punjab. Both the leaders claimed that retrogression in the SGPC was due to patronage, where the Sikh community was being neglected and degraded due to corruption as well as immorality.

The Sikh Panth has strayed from the basic principles of Sikhi. Badals, who have had the authoritative control of all the major Sikh associations since long, are accountable for all this deviation. He further added that Badals were followers of Sauda Sadh.

They tried putting values of Sikh community on stake for votes, and also targeted the administrative structure of the Shiromani Committee. Mr. Brahmpura and Mr. Dhindsa promised to liberate the SGPC from the Badals.

The Sikh leaders also slammed the Modi government, saying that BJP would have to pay the price for not complying with demands of farmers who are the breeder and feeder to the nation.

The women, children, youth and the elderly are an active part of this movement and have been fighting against the black laws from the last 8-9 months irrespective of heavy rains, wind, cold and heat but the ruling government is not giving up for the sake of farmers.

He added that, even the government of Capt. Amarinder Singh of Punjab had not kept his promises and had failed miserably in resolving the issues for which the Capt. had garnered votes from the people. The Captain government proved fail to solve the indecency scandal and drugs in state.

The Modi government is bent on benefiting and promoting big families under the table while the government of Punjab is practicing amoral familism by encouraging the members of the families of its MLAs on higher posts and authorities instead of choosing it from the common public.

He claimed that people are suffering from corrupt and inefficient BJP, Congress and Badals and they would defeat them in the elections. Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukat) would give Punjab a fourth front. The Secretary, office bearers, and a large number of working committee members were present on the occasion.
