Jalandhar, August 6, 2021 (Yes Punjab News)
Former Punjab Minister and former State President of BJP Manoranjan Kalia today questioned Punjab Health Minister Balbir Sidhu’s love for cows and also asked PPCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, as to whether his vow to end ‘Mafia Raj’ include Land Mafia too.

In a press statement issued here Friday, Kalia said, “Will Sidhu demand resignation of Health Minister who ‘usurped’ 10 Acres of prime land belonging to village Beongi in the garb of running a Gaushala.

Kalia said a Bal Gopal Gau Welfare Society which has taken 10 acres of Panchayt land at lease for 33 years in village Belongi is registered at Balbir Sidhu’s Mohali Address i.e. his Phase 7 house in Mohali.

The said land has been leased for Rs.25,000 per acre per annum while the market rate is much higher.

“The reason for Balbir Sidhu’s love for cows is because the said land is adjacent to Mohali and its value runs in crores,” he remarked.
