Sikhs, who have made huge strides across sectors globally despite their tiny population, need no certificate of intellect from the likes of Tripura chief minister Biplab Deb, who is nothing but an embarrassment to his own party, the SADD said.
“When you Google Sikhs, you find them in highly respectable positions in international affairs, finance, media, information technology, management, defence, medical, positions of power, law, jury, entrepreneurship, industry and so forth. And when you Google Biplab Deb, he comes across as a dim-wit politician whose only contribution is about embarrassing his own party because of his silly commentaries,” SADD chief Paramjit Singh Sarna said.
With his track-record of motor-mouthing, Deb is now a self-certified joke, the SADD leader said.
“Ideally, his party should disown his statement about the Sikhs,” Sardar Sarna said.
