Big shot in arm for SAD, 2 co-opted members of Singh Sabhas join party in presence of Sirsa, Kalka

The Shiromani Akali Dal today received a big shot in arm on Monday when two members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) elected during Co-option joined party in presence of DSGMC President Manjinder Singh Sirsa and General Secretary and Delhi unit President Harmeet Singh Kalka.

Addressing a press conference here today, the DSGMC President Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that both these members which included Malkeet Singh and Kashmir Singh, have decided to respect mandate of Sangat of Delhi and thus they have joined Akali Dal.

He said that he was thankful to everyone who is supporting SAD including those who are sitting in opposition party and will ultimately join Akali Dal when the new executive team will be elected.

Welcoming these members in party fold, Harmeet Singh Kalka said that SAD will always respect them for their wholehearted support. He said that now opponents can see who is with whom and whom sangat has decided to hand over sewa.

Speaking on the occasion Malkeet Singh and Kashmir Singh said that they have decided to join Akali Dal as they want to serve community. They said that they were always thankful to almighty which gave them this opportunity and they assure community that they will work hard to serve them.

It is worth mentioning here that Malkeet singh Singh is President of Singh sabha gurdwara bibi bhani and Kashmeer singh is President of gurdwara nanak satsang sabha
