A big screen has been installed at Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib, to provide information about the history, traditions, and necessary guidelines of this holy place to the Sangat (pilgrims) arriving to pay obeisance here.

This screen is installed near the main entrance of Sri Darbar Sahib, which has been offered by Jaspreet Singh of the Oberoi Group, UK, and Dubai. Important information and guidelines will be communicated on this screen in Punjabi, Hindi, and English languages to the pilgrims arriving at Sri Darbar Sahib.

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Harjinder Singh Dhami, who came to inaugurate the screen, said that Sri Harmandar Sahib is the center of faith for pilgrims from all over the world, who visit here to pay obeisance from across the world. He said that the purpose of installing the screen is to make the pilgrims aware of the history as well as the Maryada (code of conduct) required to be followed during their visit to the Sikh shrine.

He said initially, the important guidelines for the pilgrims have been communicated in three languages, while in the coming days, information related to history will also be added.
