Bhagwant Mann’s game plan of AAP’s PR exercise scuttled: Sukhbir Badal welcomes Governor’s decision

Chandigarh, Sept 21, 2022 (Yes Punjab News)
Welcoming Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit’s decision to withdraw permission for the Special Session of Vidhan Sabha, SAD president, and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said it has scuttled the game plan of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

Sukhbir Badal said that rather than resigning after being exposed for creating a bogey of purchase of AAP MLAs, the Chief Minister has resorted to diversionary tactics.

The Akali leader said, if Bhagwant Mann was concerned about bribery charges, he should have sought or requested for a CBI or High Court probe into the matter.

“We welcome the decision as it saved crores of rupees of public exchequer on a meaningless AAP PR exercise,” he said.
