Ban imposed on carrying of Baseballs, sharp-edged weapons in vehicles

In order to maintain the law and order in the city, the deputy commissioner of Police (DCP) Mr Parambir Singh Parmar has banned the carrying of any kind of sharp-edged weapons, baseball bat or any deadly weapons in the vehicles.

Exercising the powers vested under Section 144, Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, Deputy Commissioner of Police said that carrying of above mentioned things in the vehicles has been prohibited in the jurisdiction of commissionerate police.

The orders would remain in force from April 24, 2019 to June 23, 2019.
