Punjab Governor V.P. Singh Badnore on Wednesday administered the oath of office and secrecy to former DGP Suresh Arora as State Chief Information Commissioner and senior journalist Asit Jolly as Information Commissioner, in the presence of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
At a simple ceremony at the Punjab Raj Bhavan, Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh conducted the proceedings after seeking prior permission from the Governor.
