Badal couple Sukhbir & Harsimrat to file nomination papers on April 26

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal will file his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha election for Ferozepur constituency at 9 am while his wife and Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal will submit her papers at Bathinda at 1 PM before the respective returning officers tomorrow.

Stating this here today, media advisor to SAD president Harcharan Bains said that Badal couple has already proceeded for Amritsar where they would pay obeisance at holiest Sikh shrine Golden Temple today evening.

After seeking the blessings of the Guru at the Golden temple on the completion of Akhand Path which is in progress, the couple would move to Ferozepur. Harsimrat would accompany Badal while filing nomination at Ferozepur while Badal would be present while she would submit her papers at Bathinda in presence of her husband. Two times MP from this constituency, Harsimrat is set to have a hat trick.

Former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal would join the couple at Bathinda to bless his daughter- in- law while filing papers. Sr.Badal has already left for Vanaras where prime minister Narender Modi is filing his papers tomorrow morning and would return straight to Bathinda the afternoon.
