Actors Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal have embraced parenthood with the arrival of their twin daughters, who were born on August 23.
The couple announced the birth through a joint social media post, revealing that they have named their daughters Vira Ranjan Seal and Mahi Ranjan Seal.
The announcement featured an illustrated pastel-coloured garden with two baby girls surrounded by flowers, butterflies and birds. The couple wrote that their “hearts are full” as they welcomed their daughters.
“My sunshine’s are here to brighten our lives. Our hearts are full of love and gratitude. Vira Mahi #TeamGirl,” they captioned the post.
The arrival of the twins comes nearly five years after Anushka and Aditya got married. The couple announced their pregnancy on May 29, 2026, sharing pictures from a maternity photoshoot.
In the photographs, Anushka was seen flaunting her baby bump in a black bodycon dress, while Aditya wore a black outfit featuring the word “Baap” in Hindi on his T-shirt.
Sharing the pregnancy news, the couple wrote about their anticipation of becoming parents and the emotional significance of the journey.
Anushka had earlier spoken about the couple’s IVF experience and the challenges they faced while trying to start a family. She revealed that she underwent IVF treatment and received around 150 injections during the process.
Anushka and Aditya, who had been in a relationship for several years, tied the knot in Mumbai on November 21, 2021.
The couple’s latest announcement marks the beginning of a new chapter for the actors as they welcome their daughters into their family.
