Actor Anuj Saini is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass’, which marks his debut as a lead. The film, which champions women empowerment through its theme, is set to release soon.
Ahead of the release, the makers unveiled a song from the album, which has all the qualities to become people’s favourite romantic track of the season. The song features Anuj and his co-star Kashika Kapoor, and their chemistry is palpable.
Talking about the song, Saini said, “I felt like I am living my career’s ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. The locales, the song and its beautiful lyrics transported me to that world of Shah Rukh Khan.
Being a huge SRK fan myself, to have this song right in the beginning of my career is truly beyond special. I don’t think we can ever have another Shah Rukh Khan. He is romance, romance is him. But even if I am able to do a percent of what he’s done and does, that is it for me.”
Previously, during the promotions of the film, Anuj received an overwhelming response from engineering students, which left him moved. Now, he’s looking forward to the release of ‘Aayushmati Geeta Matric Pass’, which is helmed by director Prradip Khairwar. It is slated for a theatrical release on October 18, this year.
