Analytics Leadership Summit 2025 at LPU Ignites Dialogue on Data-Driven Business Revolutions

Jalandhar, Sept 26, 2025 (Yes Punjab News)

The Analytics Leadership Summit 2025, hosted at Lovely Professional University (LPU), successfully ignited a critical dialogue on the future of business, asserting that data-driven decision-making is no longer an advantage but a fundamental requirement for modern leadership.

The summit, presented by the Mittal School of Business in collaboration with EY, brought together titans from technology, finance, cybersecurity, and human resources with hundreds of students and educators.

In the welcome address, Dr. Loviraj Gupta, Pro-Vice Chancellor, LPU, emphasized on the critical role of analytics in driving organizational strategy. Dr. Gupta noted that in today’s data-rich environment, success depends not merely on collecting information but on interpreting it effectively to make strategic, impactful decisions.

The summit featured a powerhouse panel of experts who translated theory into real-world practice, including, Gaurav Jain, CEO of IF AXA, Siddharth Subramaniam from Times Network, Surabhi Mehrotra, CFO of Kellanova South Asia, Preeti Kannan, President & CHRO of IIFL Finance, Chandrashekhar Chettiar, CISO of Motilal Oswal Financial Services, and Vikash Goel, Director of Omifin Group.

The key discussion thoroughly described how analytics has evolved from traditional reporting to a powerful tool for strategic decision-making across finance, HR, technology, operations, and risk management.

They emphasized that every data point holds the potential to drive decisions that impact profits, processes, people, and long-term organizational growth. The discussion also explored how analytics enables agility, resilience, and innovation, and how leaders can translate insights into actionable strategies that create value for all stakeholders.

The summit effectively bridged the gap between theory and practice. Students engaged directly with the leaders, asking insightful questions about career pathways and the skills needed to thrive.

The summit concluded with a clear mandate for the next generation: mastering the fusion of data literacy, strategic vision, and collaborative skills is essential for leading confidently in the new business landscape.

As a recognized hub for analytics thought leadership, LPU and the Mittal School of Business remain committed to fostering dialogue and innovation, and are open to collaborative opportunities that drive the data-driven future forward.
