Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla on Sunday attended the Bhog and Antim Ardas ceremony of senior Amritsar-based journalist Harjit Singh Grewal and expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
During the visit, MP Aujla assured the family that every possible assistance would be extended for the education of Harjit Singh Grewal’s children. He said that education remains the strongest and most enduring foundation for securing a child’s future, particularly in times of personal loss and adversity.
Addressing the family members, the MP observed that while financial assistance may provide short-term relief, education is a lifelong asset that empowers children to build a stable, independent, and dignified life. He encouraged the children to pursue quality and higher education so that they can move forward with confidence and self-reliance.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla further said that he, along with society at large, stands firmly with the Grewal family in this hour of grief. He assured them of continued support in the times ahead and reaffirmed his commitment to helping the children realise their aspirations.
