MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla held a meeting with BSNL officials today. During this, to save the falling standards of this department, he said that it should be ensured that BSNL connection is installed in every government office. At the same time, he will also raise the issue in Parliament to make this department better.
MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla told that today the meeting of the Telephone Advisory Committee was held in the office of BSNL located at Ranjit Avenue where officials from Amritsar and Tarn Taran participated. During this, the falling standards of BSNL, plans for it and other important things were discussed.
MP Aujla said that the biggest problem at present is theft on BSNL towers, while the infrastructure is big but the towers are very less, due to which there is a problem in the range as well.
He said that BSNL is a public sector and it is very important to save it, for which he has taken the problems being faced by them in writing so that they can be presented in Parliament and the minister of the concerned department can also be met.
MP Gurjeet Aujla said that the private sector is growing rapidly because there is no accountability in the government sector, while many problems also come at the government level like taking LOC from PWD and other departments. There is a lot of delay in these works due to which the public sector is not able to compete with the private sector.
That is why today he has known their problems in detail and they will be solved soon. To save this sector, we have to think before the private sector. Right now private companies are running 5G and thinking about 6G while BSNL is still running on 4G, so for this also the government will be talked to as to how 5G can be brought and this department can be taken towards progress again.
