The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today asked chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh to practice what he preached and return the money received from two Chinese companies for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Answering a media query here, former minister Bikram Singh Majithia said as per media reports, the CM Relief fund had received Rs 25 lakh from a Chinese electronic company Xiaomi on April 2 and Rs 50 lakh from Ola which was funded by Chinese investors.
He said since the chief minister had raised a big issue of funds received from Chinese companies by PM Cares yesterday, he should return the money received from these two companies as well as any other donation by any company associated with Chinese investors.
