The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa reacted strongly to the announcement of Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on not to implement Citizenship bill in Punjab and said that once again he has backstabbed Sikhs and proved himself to be a true Congressman.
In a statement released here today, Mr. Sirsa said that after many years of Independence Sikh families who migrated from Afghanistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir who were waiting for citizenship in India, had hoped that this bill will finally provide citizenship right to them which the successive Congress government of the nation had deprived them.
Mr. Sirsa said that though Gandhi family is butcher of Sikhs but the Sikhs were expecting that being a Sikh Amarinder Singh will not go Gandhi family way and will provide relief to those families who had come to ameliorate condition of their lives in India.
The DSGMC President said that he was pained at the announcement of Punjab Chief Minister because Sikh community was set to be biggest beneficiary of the Citizenship bill but now his announcement has rubbed salts on the wounds of Sikh families who had come to India in the hope that minorities are safe in India but were unaware that here exists some Gandhi families loyalists who are hell bent on opposing any relief for Sikhs at the orders of Gandhi family.
